Apologies for absence: Terry Gibson
1.Matters Arising- Insufficient club members racing each week we pay £60 per week if we race or not, we are losing money.
2.Chairman's report
a. Marshalling- All have been helping when No's have been small, wearing of Hi-Vis vest by all marshals we have all lapsed in this requirement, BRCA rules for insurance reasons.
b. Championships have been messed up this year (break down of web site, not updating results so members have sight of standings in the championship) but will hopefully be back to normal in 2008, some very good racing has taken place.
c. Events attended by club members Puddletown carnival and the Rally X events by the buggy members, not forgetting NOT BOVY again a great success
d. Many thanks to Marc Westmancott for managing the Weymouth RC web site.
3.Treasurers report
a. Income for 2007 £2,500.00 – Outlay for 2007 £3,120.00 = Money in bank £980.12.

7. Nitro Touring matters
a. 1/10th scale. Any Body shell, .15 engines max, any wheel and tyre combination, Must have working fail safe fitted and a body fitted while racing and for practice.

a. Buggies and Truggies race together. Must have working fail safe fitted and a body fitted while racing and for practice .
9. Electric 27 Turn stock matters

b. Running Brushless motors. Weymouth RC will not be running Brushless motors during the 2008 season.
c. The club gets more involved with RC events in and around the Weymouth area,

d. The merging of Weymouth RC with Yeovil Model Race Club, and the sharing of the Clay pigeon track.
Saving money weekly by not spending £60 each Friday night if we race or not, the club will actually get money by racing at Clay pigeon track. £3 per head £1.50 to clay £1.50 to club.£5 on a Sunday but negotiable.
Super track, facilities are there, but RC racing side need some updating, pits etc....
The club will re-evaluate track and monetary situation in 3 months. Terry Gibson will be the point of contact with Yeovil Model Race Club, regarding any and all matters of amalgamation.

All club members are asked to look out for a potential new location for the club to continue racing, should the need arise i.e. We are asked to vacate our current location due to monetary reasons.

f. Can a £5.00 voucher for local RC shops be given out instead of trophy's. No Weymouth RC will still hand out trophy's ( When we get them).

12. A.O.B (Any Other Business)
a. Vice Chairman is to liaise with Dorchseter town council ref indoor market to race in.
b. Personnel Transponders, we will look into the cost of a job lot of PT's for members.
13. Hand out 2007 club championship prizes in January. Not finished.
15. Date for next AGM TBC. Last Friday in November 2008 at the Tavern crossways.
16. Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all Weymouth RC Club Members and families.
